MuniFin’s USD 1.5 billion benchmark faced phenomenal demand
Only two weeks after MuniFin’s highly successful opening transaction of the year, MuniFin priced a new USD 1.5 billion benchmark on 24 January. Investor demand was phenomenal from the beginning and resulted in an all-time record orderbook of USD 4.4 billion. The bond is also the largest USD issuance since 2021.
MuniFin succeeds with a EUR 1 billion 10-year benchmark in a record breaking market
MuniFin kicked off its 2024 funding programme of EUR 9–10 billion with a 10-year EUR 1 billion benchmark bond on 10 January. The benchmark ended up more than two times oversubscribed, as MuniFin carved out demand in a record volume week in the market.

MuniFin has won the Best SSA ESG Bond Issuer award by CMD Portal, that praised MuniFin for our long-term commitment to sustainability and successful sustainable bonds issuances.
MuniFin’s funding forecast for 2024: EUR 9–10 billion
In 2024, MuniFin plans to issue EUR 9–10 billion of long-term funding, which is in line with the new issuance volumes in 2023.

On Thursday 5 October, MuniFin issued a sizeable USD 1.25 billion benchmark, which is the company’s largest USD transaction since 2021. The successful 3-year transaction attracted a geographically diverse group of high-quality investors.

MuniFin’s return responded to deficient supply in the GBP SSA market
On Wednesday 9 August 2023, MuniFin returned to the Sterling market for the first time in 18 months. The long-awaited comeback resulted in an oversubscribed orderbook of the highest quality.
MuniFin strikes again to the Swiss bond market
On 24 July 2023, MuniFin issued a new 3-year CHF 100 million bond. The last issuance in the Swiss bond market was in May, which makes this MuniFin’s second CHF transaction this year.
MuniFin revises its long-term funding program up by EUR 1 billion
MuniFin has updated its long-term funding program size and plans to issue EUR 9-10 billion in 2023, which is up by EUR 1.0 billion from the originally communicated EUR 8-9 billion range.

On 6 June 2023, MuniFin returned to the USD market by issuing a 5-year USD 1 billion benchmark. The transaction was a great success as MuniFin was able to navigate the busy SSA market resulting in over 2.5 times oversubscribed and hiqh-quality orderbook.
MuniFin returns to the Swiss bond market
On 17 May 2023, MuniFin issued its first new CHF bond since 2017. The successful 5-year CHF 150 million transaction broke this year’s record as the tightest level 5y issuance by a foreign issuer.
MuniFin’s largest 7-year euro transaction to date attracted high-quality investors
On 19 April 2023, MuniFin priced its third euro transaction of the year: an EUR 1 billion benchmark due 29 July 2030. MuniFin was able to navigate the busy market resulting in a nearly twice oversubscribed and high-quality orderbook.

MuniFin issues a record-breaking EUR 1 billion green bond
On 15 February, MuniFin priced a fixed-rate EUR 1 billion green bond due 25 September 2028. The more than twice oversubscribed transaction is the largest EUR green bond to date for MuniFin as well as the largest EUR green bond of all time in the Nordic SSA market.
MuniFin opens funding year with a successful 5-year EUR 1.5 billion benchmark
On 11 January 2023, MuniFin kick-started the funding year by pricing a 5-year EUR 1.5 billion benchmark. MuniFin was able to successfully navigate the busy January market and the transaction was quickly over twice oversubscribed by high-quality and geographically diverse investors.
